
A practice to honour Imbolc and the full moon that invites you to reflect and embody the flow of soma, the rejuvenating nectar synonymous with the moon.
Move through 45 minutes of Prana Flow jala/water element pathways to tune in to the auspicious and instinctual currents of your body and mind, and by embodying the water element bring fluidity, openness and natural flow to stiffness and restrictive thought patterns.
A classical Imbolc tradition was to visit streams and rivers to feel the purification and nourishment of sacred water for seed intentions to grow with the rising sunlight.

A 50 minute practice to catch the auspicious energy around the new moon, the first (at time of recording) of the new year. You are invited to begin seated with pranayama, mudra, invocation and reflection.
But if you feel you need to move first before coming to a seat, go to the around 18 minute mark and enjoy clearing the path for the cycle ahead and honouring the moon in movement meditation guided through rounds of Chandra namaskar. You can then come back to the beginning for the seated meditation if that is a better flow for you.
A practice for any new moon or beginning to feel your way into the pathways of your inner wisdom to guide and support you off for the living yoga off the mat.

A 35 minute practice invoking balanced fire to not only help you focus and discern the path ahead of any new cycle - new year, new day, new moon, solstice, equinox, birthday, sunrise - but also to connect with your innate inner light and joy.

A 30 minute classical surya namaskar practice to honour Makar Sankranthi on 14th Jan, the point in the Vedic calendar when the sun is seen to begin its uttarayana northward movement, and heralding the beginning of the rising light cycle in the Northern hemisphere.
Begin with nadi shodhana/alternate nostril breathing pranayama and seated dedication before moving through several rounds of classical surya namaskar with invitation to circulate the solar bija (seed) mantras HRAM. HRIM, HRUM, HRAIM, HRAUM, HRAHA.

A 60 minute fire and earth embodiment practice to catch and honour the energy of Samhain (pronounced Sau-ihn) - the cross-quarter festival in the Celtic wheel - that celebrates both your ancestors & the living.
At the heart of what is more widely known as Hallowe’en Samhain is seen as the most important point in the Celtic wheel as it marks the Gaelic new year. A time when bonfires are lit to allow for the release from the last cycles (solar, lunar and or ancestral) before the new year begins.
During this practice we honour and embody the earth, our roots and ancestors and you are invited to bring anything to the symbolic agni/fire namaskar for the purpose of transformation or transmutation for positive change in your life and for future generations.
