A 50 minute practice that aims to help you connect with the elements that can most stabilise and soothe us in times of great change and disturbance, which can be felt more in autumn and during eclipses.
The earth and water elements are key to balancing the effects of an excess of Vata Dosha's dominant space and air qualities that rise in autumn.
The energy of eclipses through their placement in Rahu & Ketu's shadow planet space also brings potentially erratic and sudden changes, adding more Vata into the mix. And if you are being heavily influenced by Saturn Vata pacification is key.
This practice guides you through some of the simplest movements of yoga, beginning with pranams in both standing and prostration form.
You will then move through rounds of an earth embodiment Prana Flow sequence that evolves into a lunar pathway of the water element to seal in a sense of being able to flow in your life from a grounded place.

You will be guided through Soma namaskar to invite the flow of Soma’s life-giving nectar to free your spine and cleanse and purify inner pathways in a soothing way.
These hip and heart opener movements are interspersed with space and time on the earth to be moved from within and express your inner rhythm and flow.
You will be invited to rise and move like water in a way that gets into the tight spots of tension, conditioning and resistance in body and mind.

A 45 minute heart centred practice with pauses on the earth for reflection for when you want to lean into the qualities of love and courage.
In Ayurveda, both rasas (meaning emotion, taste, juice) of love and courage are connected with Kapha dosha with its qualities of water and earth. Qualities that help balance excess Pitta (fire aka inflammation & frustration) and Vata (space & air aka restlessness & anxiety) that can rise in intense times.
Kapha in excess gathers around the heart space and is the dominant dosha in late winter/spring.
So we’re invited to bring attention to keeping your heart space open and receptive at this time of year, especially to receiving your own heart wisdom to love and live your life with courage and freedom.
